Sometimes we need to go back to our roots and experience what SOUL taste like. Today I decided to treat my self to some food that gave me a warm deep down feeling that would stick to my ribs. Victor and Nicole nailed it! I ordered the grits, turkey sausage and scrambled eggs with a biscuit!!! Oh my goodness!!! Fresh and flavorful was every bite. Thanks Eugene- great job in the kitchen The atmosphere was so inviting that I didn’t want to leave . Everyone is so kind and down to earth. Friday they are serving fish!!!! I’ll be there with fork in hand. Let’s support our local businesses that add to our communities!!! Especially when they are top notch and serve from the heart. When you are in the neighborhood, do your self a favor and pay them a visit- trust me, you’ll be glad you did!

First off, I am big on customer service and I must say the customer service is excellent. I love the food somebody should kiss the chef. My wife loves it, my kids love it. Should I say more. Ok, I will anyway. The atmosphere is lovely, convenient location, plenty of parking, I will be remiss in my duties if I don't mention that NVS does charity work, gives back to the community, helps families in need, coaching, teaching, training. On that note I am out.

I ordered catfish nuggets, grits, and biscuits for breakfast which was very tasty! I also tried the fried chicken and collard greens on my next visit which was good too! Family friendly atmosphere with great customer service! Truly enjoyed it!

Today was my 1st visit of many! I tried the peach French toast. It was so good, I'm telling everyone you don't even need syrup. Now that's good!! I had the grits to go as well and just added my cheese with a dash of salt when I got home! Grits are a go to dish for me!! I can't wait to try tons of other items on the menu. They have a nice variety. Check this family owned business out. Oh, and great customer service too, which is important to me. Until next time NVS. See yall soon!

At NVS Soul Food I have had the most awesome experience I could ever have at a restaurant. The food is made fresh and looks and taste as good as the picture on the menu. The staff makes you feel at home like family. The atmosphere for me is like home away from home. The facilities are super clean. The location is perfect for my commute back and forth to work. It's perfect for a great time with the whole or a romantic dinner just for two. They are really good at catering to the needs of their customers and the community.

Well, Well,Well... I walked into NVS this morning and thought (Ada Mae Lockhart) was in the kitchen. OMG! The breakfast took me back to Waverly, Alabama early mornings at my grandmother's house. Nicole,Victor and their crew hospitality was warm , we laughed and talked about our childhood and the food on how it use to be.The RV for the children topped it off. If you are near or visiting GA, stop by you will not regret it! While almost in tears, I enjoyed every bite as if I was that child eating Ada Mae cooking again. It is set up just like a grandmother's kitchen. Nicole said, Fried Green Tomatoe and Fat Back, I ran out the door and screamed NVS, I Speak God's will to Expand, Prosperity, Happy Family Gatherings and Community Love over your business.
